1983

Johnny Manglani visited the capital of the USSR for the first time to make a market research. Results were encouraging: immediately he founded a closed boutique in Moscow where high-ranking embassy officials and foreign diplomats could order clothes and accessories of high quality.

1988

At the end of the 80-s the pioneer in the sphere of business wear on Russian market had the first Russian buyers. Many of them are still patrons of Uomo Collezioni and good friends of the company's owner. «Our clients became our partners as we follow the same purpose — creating an individual image and style. Many of our friends are the people who chose our company 10 or 15 years ago on their friends' advice», — that's how Mr. Manglani explains phenomenal success of his business.

1998

Johnny Manglani prepared to open a chain of multibrand boutiques in Moscow. Unfortunately August crisis disturbed his plans, putting aside a triumphal subdual of the capital for a time. Only at the end of 1998 the first boutique «Men's VIP-salon» was opened at Bolshaya Gruzinskaya Street. People who prefer custom-made suits to mass production — representatives of business and political elite — immediately put down this address into their personal organizers.

2000

In order to satisfy a growing demand of clients it was decided to expand boutique's assortment with a permanent variety of readymade collections: outwear, knitwear, shoes and accessories of famous Italian brands. Isaia, Givenchy, Dalmine Lardini, Belvest, Raffaele Caruso, Schiatti, Corneliani — this is not a full list of names well-known to metropolitan dandies ,with the delicate help of Uomo Collezioni.

2002-2009

Uomo Collezioni became a chain of exclusive men's fashion boutiques. New branches are located in most prestigious parts of the city: Kutuzovsky and Leninsky prospect, Petrovka and Presnensky Val. Today Uomo Collezioni boutiques offer their demanding clients wide range of the most famous Italian brands; besides they have an opportunity to order tailor-made suits and shirts made in Italy.
